History really does repeat itself over and over. I often wake up in utter disbelief that these are the times I’m living in. It feels like deja vu. Like I’ve been here before, at a time where women policed each other and condemned one another to the stake. I feel a deep, ancestral betrayal wound from my sisters, the ones who have forgotten that the only way to rise, is to unite. The sisterhood is powerful and, mothers United for a cause are unstoppable therefore, it makes sense why the system is invested in the disempowerment and polarization of women. Ive gotten so many DM’s on my social media, from women who mob against other women in order to protect men who believe themselves to be women. Now, people who don’t fall into the gender norm are deserving of respect and their expression should not be cause for hostility. The issue is not how you dress, it’s the women only spaces that are now occupied by men under the term transwoman. Why aren’t all women speaking up against policy that allows men in womens sports, girls bathrooms, locker rooms, womens circles, lesbian dating apps and prisons?
